Visit WebsiteAppalachian State University's AppDocs and Department of Communication are pleased to host the inaugural Emerging Filmmakers Showcase on Tuesday, February 24, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at the Greenbriar Theatre in the Plemmons Student Union on App State's Boone campus. Admission is free and open to the public.
Nine films produced by students and alumni from the College of Arts and Sciences and College of Fine and Applied Arts — including narrative, experimental, animated, and promotional pieces — will be screened. The screenings will be followed by a filmmakers panel moderated by Rosalie McCracken, Appalachian Heritage Council Chairperson for the Appalachian Popular Programming Society.
