DESCRIPTION:As part of this year's CLIO Talks series\, early-career-teacher
  graduates from the History Education program will host a special session t
 o share their experiences.\n\nCLIO TALKS are free "pre-professional” semina
 r sessions led by history education faculty\, other faculty in the Departme
 nt of History and invited guests from App State and beyond. Each session ru
 ns no more than one hour and focuses on a relevant topic in teaching histor
 y/social studies in the classroom.\n\nAlthough CLIO TALKS sessions are prim
 arily geared toward history/social studies education majors\, they are open
  to any student interested in the teaching and learning of history and soci
 al studies. No registration is required.
