DESCRIPTION:Art & Design Expo is an annual juried student exhibition organi
 zed by the Department of Art.  Expo 2026 will be juried by guest curator M
 ichael Manes who is co-director of Cohab space in High Point and Co-owner 
 of Blue Spiral in Asheville. Michael has dedicated his career to creating 
 opportunities for arts and design professionals here in North Carolina and
  beyond\, and he has particularly strong experience working across the wor
 lds of craft\, applied design\, and fine arts. \n\nStudent work will be on
  view from February 10-26 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Walling Gallery in Wey
  Hall and in the Smith Gallery in the Schaefer Center.  Please also join u
 s on Thursday\, February 19 from 5-7 p.m. to celebrate at our reception.  
 This event is free and open to family\, friends and the general public.  A
 ll are welcome.
